Qinghai Library
In Qinghai, we spent a week to engineer and build lightweight nomadic library to serve herdsmen's children. In summer, those children come to the pastures far from the town with their parents to graze. A library can be a place for them to pass the time.
In the project, as the library sketch I drew received the most support, I took on the responsibility of designing the library. And my peers and I organized younger companions to build the library together. That week, we became the stingiest engineers, the most unreliable babysitters, semi-competent conflict mediators, and masters of yak driving.
Thanks to the photography teacher for recording the whole process!
